We are a Lithuania-based non-governmental organization working to make plant-based choices accessible, appealing, and part of everyday life.
Our goal is to create the conditions for individuals, businesses, and public institutions to adopt plant-based options in practice.
We work across three main areas:
Shaping everyday choices
Interest in plant-based diets is growing, but many people lack the knowledge and confidence to apply them in daily life. We provide education and practical guidance to help people incorporate plant-based food into their routines. At the same time, we support a growing community and contribute to public awareness together with media and partners.
Working with businesses
We partner with producers, restaurants, and food service providers to expand and strengthen plant-based options — from retail shelves to dining tables. Our work includes strategic guidance on positioning, audience engagement, menu and product development, and communication.
We are also the official V-Label representative in the Baltic countries, providing internationally recognized certification for plant-based products.
Engaging institutions
We work with ministries and decision-makers to strengthen the role of plant-based food in public health and environmental policy. We also support public institutions in expanding access to diverse, high-quality plant-based meals in everyday settings.
Augalyn brings together a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, working alongside international partners and fellow non-governmental organizations. We contribute to cross-border initiatives and are members of the European Vegetarian Union.
Founded in 2021 (formerly GYVI GALI), Augalyn continues to advance the role of plant-based choices in Lithuania and contribute to long-term food system change.
